I don't know where to start...this song was the 1st track I put together after Aces Down broke up. You could say it was the festering emotions inside that lead to this song being made.
I was having a really rough time at this point and the 3 songs that were going through my head were Like Spinning Plates by Radiohead, Regrets by Jay-Z, and Retrovertigo by Mr.Bungle. Somehow, those 3 songs influenced the direction of this track.
It was the first time that I tried to tell a story without words, but with the music itself. I do admit it was hard to do at first, but as time went on, the song built itself. Once I found those strings, it really got a life of it's own, and the song assembled almost immediately after.
